I love this book , at first I was skeptical about it because I prefer not to know about evil stuff. After reading this book I have more knowledge about the Devil actions and the way he can operates in any of us. The most important thing is that he help us to recognized those actions and how to deal with then. Father Amorth explained so much In a simple and honest way that there is not doubt that we have an increasing number of evil actions In our world today. RIP Father Gabriel Amorth I will miss him very much a hope we can lhave more priest like Him.
I don't read these because I have a devil fetish. I read them because of the extremely positive, loving attitude of the author, his faith and knowledge and the absolute certainty of the existence of the supernatural and preternatural worlds.I can understand, however, why my wife would get a little bit concerned by all these exorcist books showing up in our linked Kindle accounts.
Great book. Written in a very simple, honest, humble and straight forward manner. I have read all of Father Amorth's books which have been translated into English and hope his other books will be translated soon. Father Amorth's knowledge and wisdom has helped me to strengthen my faith, live a more wholesome life, and increase my daily prayers. In turn, I pass on what I learn to others in need.
Truth is definitely stranger than fiction.After having read both books by Gabriele Amorth, I look on a lot of world events and "harmless activities" in a new light.I won't give any details away here, but suffice to say that the books are easily read.I wish every teen would read this before they start down the route of Hollywood films glorifying the occult and wizardry.If you want to a good scare, these books will do the trick, and educate yourself on a serious topic as well.
This book continues to probe the strange world of demonology including exorcism demonic possession and all the other attacks of the demons. Father Gabriel Amorth has done a great job explaining the problems caused by evil spirits and the remedies employed by the Church to set people free of them!
I've enjoyed this book even more than Fr. Amorth's other book "An Exorcist Tells His Stories"! I like how it's formated to tell stories of deliverance related to the chapter's subject matter! It however, like the other I brought, has no index section, but over all it's a great buy!
The Confirmation students really enjoyed having this text presented....to the trepidation of Church leadership who otherwise have neglected instruction on such matters; or minimized the reality of such a spiritual nemesis.
Very interesting. Much of what he says is how I have thought for years about the difference between mental health and diabolicalactivity in the world. It is real.
