I am so glad that I purchased and read this book. This was a true adventure full of harrowing danger, twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat and a plot that pulls you until the book is finished. It will leave you stunned and wishing that the 3rd book was out already.I absolutely loved the development Lee had in this book. He truly worked to become a better person and a better warrior.My overall take on this book is read the dam thing, it is amazing. If I could I'd give it more stars due to how enjoyable it was to read and how fast I got through it. I couldn't put it down once I started.Now there is some spoilers contained below....Lee defiently took a step up in making himself into a true advocate for agustus in this book. Not only did he further his growth in his powers but as a person he truly embraced his own godhood. The powers displayed in this book were amazing. It was great seeing him time and time again use them in creative ways to solve issues he couldn't have gotten out of without them.Now for Miller... he became a true paladin warrior in this story and the depth of his character was truly great. I loved the internal conflict that made him strive to be better and stronger. Miller is just Miller once again.The plot. Ss soon ss I started to read I was sucked straight into the action. There were many points where I was yelling or laughing out loud because I got so into it. Though Charles was cruel by making him be a pansy with women.
The fun continues! I love the author’s poignant stories as he masterfully laces them with rip-snorting humor. This book delivered in spades for me. Two thumbs up!
Loved the storyline progression. Lee and Miller are such a great team. LOL Can't wait to read book threee after that ending. full review coming soon.
Loved it! This was a worthy follow-up and features lots of humor despite its serious undertones. I love the characters and setting. Lee's character shows a significant amount of change from the person he was at the end of the last book.I can't recommend this enough. Looking forward to book 3!
If you enjoyed the first book then you will enjoy this book as well! Lee still has a lot of leveling to do in preparation for the other Heralds he might encounter. A ton of points into intellect and he still isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Lee needs to be able out maneuver his opponents to have a chance. Does he pull it off? buy the book and find out ðŸ˜. Miller gets fleshed out more which really helps to explain why he is so overzealous. I'll admit that Miller was starting to annoy the hell out of me lol. Um there is more to say but I'm tired and i don't want to let some spoilers accidentally spill out. I look forward to future installments and my only request is please do not turn this into a harem series.
Some LitRPG books you read for the world building or to see the skill and spell systems branch out and become alive.War Aeternus 2 has got that, but that's not why I enjoyed it so much - mainly it's just sheer, unadulterated fun! The banter is awesome, the fights are explosive and the MC is seeing some long-sought after personal growth.I also like the crafting system - any system that allows you to turn a monster into wine and drink it is formally approved by me!The book was a nice length, but I blazed right through it - looking forward to the third book.

This book evolved some really cool concepts and the conflicts got a lot more real. Definitely made for a more interesting plot! Lots of comical relief as anticipated and more of the juicy good character development we've all been wanting! I'm loving that they are doing the audio books now too cause those are even more legit! The narrator's got a voice like he was secretly my real lost father all along lolcant wait for the next LitRPG from you guys!
Charles Dean has done it again. I can’t seem to pull myself away from this great story. The only problem is tbat it didnt last longer and it has me yearning for more. The characters come alive and seem to have true motivatins and dont seem to catch all the lucky breaks that main characters seem to always get in other stories. I like how this series is progressing and am looking forward tot he next one soon.
